Well I haven't really been updating my blog for awhile. Since January I have taught 6th grade science and 2nd grade esol for about 3 months each. I took over some maternity leaves and got some great experience. Now I moved back to my home town and got a job in the county I wanted. I will now be a 4th grade teacher starting in August. Now it's time to prepare for my classroom, pick a theme, create my classroom library, get work ready.   What are some tips to getting prepared for your first year teaching?

This is my first banner I made for the 5th graders at my school.
I had my students write words of encouragement on the baseball's.
